Hello! Let me share our amazing family with you and the experiences and memories we have as a unit. Maria Teresa Leona Lumagbas (my mother) is our family's matriarch and the lifeblood of our home and let's proceed in more detail and the memorable times we treasure.

 

 

Introducing my Family

 

Maria Teresa L. Lumagbas is a remarkable person who enriches our family with love, joy, and laughter. She is a devoted wife, a doting mother, and a driven woman . She never fails to encourage and uplift us, and her generosity knows no limitations. She is a fantastic cook, and we are constantly in awe of her abilities. 

 

Beyond our family, her maternal character is evident in her active involvement in community work and her willingness to constantly provide a helping hand. We are happy to have her in our lives since she exudes a contagious sense of optimism.

 

The Clan of Lumagbas

  

Our family is a colorful mashup of interests and personality. Let's present the remaining members of our clan:

 

Julio (my father) when he is still alive, he gives our family security and strength because he is a devoted partner and father. He has a fantastic sense of humor, and his quips never fail to make us smile. He is very hardworking and enjoys playing outdoor games with his family in his free time.

 

Jomar is the oldest son. He has a natural aptitude or talent for mathematics and a deep passion for working with numbers and who loves numbers. He is a good big brother to his younger siblings as well.

 

Jessa Marie is the kind and loving daughter. She enjoys dancing and is a part of the dance performances way back in her elementary and high school days . Our days are made better by her contagious grin, upbeat demeanor, and willingness to provide a helping hand.

 

Jamille Myka is a kind of daughter that tends to be flexible, adaptable, diplomatic, and good at compromising. She also possess strong negotiation skills and a desire to seek fairness in relationships. S

Jovel Mark a son who loves to paint. He is renowned for his imaginative creativity and his capacity to vividly depict stories in his works of art. 

Our family's youngest member is named Jeymart. He is enthusiastic and inquisitive, always wanting to learn more about the world. He enjoys spending time with his siblings outdoors and playing with his toys.

Family Adventures of Ours

The relationship with our siblings and parent is one of the most precious aspects of our life. We'll explore the dynamics among us, highlighting our unique connection, memorable moments, and the lessons we learn from each other. Family adventures, rivalries, and the unconditional love we share will be the focus of this heartwarming post.

We think that having interesting family adventures and creating enduring memories are important. We treasure every second we spend together, whether it be on a road trip to a nearby town, a stroll through the outdoors, or a comfortable movie night at home. We also like trying out new foods, going to neighborhood events, and doing our own home improvement projects.

Reaction Paper — Local film “Pauwi na” is a film directed by Paolo Villaluna. It was published in 2016 along with other local indie films alike. The reaction to the from a viewer's point of view I’m going to express in this short essay.

The whole setting of this film is drawn around the series of unfortunate events occur that will either test their determination or distract them from their journey home , where they decide to use pedicans so they could "pedal" their way back to the province without enough transport money . According to the synopsis of the film, this was inspired by a news article featuring ("Family pedals way back home to Leyte," Sept. 7, 2003). The characters present in the scenes are:  Mang Pepe and his wife, Remedios, live in a hut in a Quezon City barrio with their daughter Pina, their son JP and his pregnant blind wife Isabel, and their dog Kikay. Mang Pepe drives his pedicab and carries various loads to the market every day to survive, while Aling Remedios washes laundry for her neighbors. JP and Pina both attempt to make a living, while Isabel sees and communicates with Jesus Christ despite her blindness.

PAUWI NA is both sad and amusing at the same time but it shows also of a dysfunctional family wherein parents sometimes neglect their children, and other family members are often forced to accommodate and enable negative behavior.

The director  seems to have the film the way readers can see not only about a family  but about what it means to be part of one. The concept of this film is to introduce them to the reader about their personality and what their life was about.  

The whole flow of the film changes as it turns out its characters and story into a depressing, heartbreaking, confusing and fun film all at the same time and it gives some of the genuine comedic scenes. And also the director wanted to make connection through films such global impact that strengthens the Filipino cultural roots and narratives through online, face-to-face, and hybrid block screening

I personally like the film and how it is delivered. And I always prefer comedy style, as believe that laugh is the best doctor. Such this film would be a great scene for constant laughing and joking, hence, I am sure that style of this film suits me as well as possible. Hoping for more local films like this hehe and thanks for sharing such talent !

Live, Teach and Love

 As a teacher she often inspire the next generation or her learners that by becoming a teacher they'll get job satisfaction that few will experience. Other than parents, teachers have arguably the biggest influence on a child's life. 

  She really wanted to be the kind of  teacher who is warm, accessible,   enthusiastic, and caring but still she is working on it. And a person who is approachable, not only to students, but to everyone on their campus. Because this is the teacher that whom students know they can go with any problems or concerns or even to share funny experiences. Then this could lead to a better and effective learning environment.

  She experienced that being a teacher is not easy yet she still have to enjoy life because that is one of the reasons why we should have Happy Teachers, same goes with students they learn best if they are also happy or enjoying. The following are the habits that she does such as (1)keeping certain hours totally school-free (2)wear clothes that makes me feel good (3)think and believing myself as a great teacher (4)vote and be politically active (5)strive always for a friendly, welcoming classroom (6)take fun vacations (7)be positive, helpful colleague, sometimes(8)import my own joy.

  Life of a teacher is in itself a matter of pride and self-motivation. It takes a lot of patience and courage to choose such a profession and go ahead with it. It is known to be a selfless figure who puts in all the efforts to teach students all the knowledge that  have gained in the entire life (c).

 But above all, she can still have a happy family life with a teaching profession yet she just have to balance. Like she just have to avoid taking on too much. Prioritize and don't procrastinate. Find what works best for her and her family. She always remind herself that have no worries in everything especially if it doesn't get done. And most importantly she communicates with her family always.
